NUSTAR Resort and Casino: Island of New Career Possibilities

An integrated resort (IR) is a major resort development that integrates a casino, a hotel, convention centers, entertainment shows, theaters, luxury retail, leisure parks, different dining concepts, and other non-gaming facilities, all in one property.

Aside from being extensive in every sense, IRs help boost a city’s tourism and economy, and generate jobs in the communities they’re in. As Cebu’s first premier IR, NUSTAR Resort and Casino believes not just in elevating the leisure and entertainment experience in the Visayas, Mindanao, and beyond, but also the lives of the people in the region.

NUSTAR provides not only world-class lifestyle options, but also career opportunities across various fields of expertise, in a bid to be the region’s employer of choice. This is in addition to its ultimate goal of making Cebu the top-of-mind destination among local and international travelers.

As the property continues to take shape, it is envisioned to become the most iconic integrated resort in the Philippines by 2025. With this in mind, NUSTAR aims to create exceptional experiences and lasting memories for guests. One vital factor in achieving this is the workforce behind the hotels, the casino, the dining outlets, the mall, and others.

NUSTAR Team Members are driven by the company’s core values, and everyone does things from the HEART:

We are Honorable. That means we choose to do the right thing every time.

We are Exceptional. We do this by creating extraordinary experiences.

We are Adaptable. We are able to adapt to the changing needs of our guests.

We are Respectful, in that we treat others right.

We are Thankful. We exhibit an attitude of gratitude.

NUSTAR goes above and beyond to deliver a customer-centric experience at all times. As the “Island of New Possibilities” including new career possibilities, NUSTAR holds a Recruitment Caravan in different parts of the Visayas and Mindanao each month. After successful runs in Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, and Iloilo, the caravan will be brought to Dumaguete and Bohol next.

To date, NUSTAR has hired a total of 1,085 employees, with an average of 100 new hires per month. Currently, there are 17 different departments at NUSTAR, 244 positions that have been offered by the company since its inception in 2017, and over 100 available positions.
