BLACKJACK

Blackjack is a game played against the Dealer, with the objective to get as close a score to 21 as possible without exceeding that number. In order to win, you must beat the Dealer’s total, however, if you go over 21 points that is considered a bust and you automatically forfeit your bet. A Blackjack is the first two cards that is an Ace and a “ten-card” (picture card or 10).

RULES

  1. At the start of the hand, each Player places a bet on the table.
  2. Game starts by dealing one card face up to each Player starting from the Dealer’s left and repeats that until each Player has two cards.
  3. The Dealer’s card is dealt face up and second card is dealt when all Players have completed their hands.
  4. Each Player makes a decision based on the value of their hands against the Dealer’s first card.
  5. If a Player draws more than the value of 21, he is “busted” and loses the hand.
  6. If the Dealer gets a natural Blackjack, wagers of all Players who do not have a natural Blackjack will be immediately collected.

Players’ options are:

  • Stand – Player decides not to take any card.
  • Hit/Draw – Player receives another card until he/she decides to stop.
  • Double Down – Player can choose to double his/her initial bet and take one more card. He/she must stand after the card is drawn, regardless of the value of the card.
  • Split – If the Player has been dealt two cards of the same value, he/she may choose to split them into two hands.
