PONTOON

Pontoon is a card game that was made popular in the UK and is now making its way in the US and in Asia. It is a variant of the American game Blackjack and was originally based on the French card game Vingt-et-un (21). The objective of the game is to get as close as you can to 21 points without going over. Unlike Blackjack, Pontoon is played without the “10’s”

HOW TO PLAY

Ace Queen Card

How to play:

  1. Prior to the first card being dealt, each player at the table shall place their wagers in the appropriate betting areas.
  2. Each betted box will be given 2 initial cards and 1 card for the dealer.
  3. A player may surrender his hands on the initial 2 cards provided the dealer’s first card is an Ace, King, Queen or Jack.
  4. A player is permitted to stand on any two cards.
  5. A player may elect to receive additional cards if their point total is less than 21.
  6. Where a player’s point total exceeds 21, any wager on that hand shall lose.
  7. All hands reaching a total of 21 points shall be paid immediately, regardless of the Dealers card total.
