Curated by Cebuano author and food historian Louella Theresa A. Eslao-Alix, Taste Cebu invites guests on a one-hour guided journey through a series of thoughtfully curated spaces that celebrate the rich heritage, evolution, and future of Cebuano cuisine.
The experience begins in the Listening Room, where guests are introduced to the people, influences, and history that have shaped Cebu’s food culture. From there, guests will explore four themed galleries that showcase different chapters of Cebu’s culinary story, from heirloom traditions and homegrown flavors to festive food culture and contemporary interpretations of Cebuano cuisine. Each gallery is paired with curated tastings that bring the narratives to life.
