It’s a Champion’s Showdown!

The NUSTAR Blackjack Tournament of the Champions brings two days of competitive blackjack action to NUSTAR this October 29 and 30, 2026.

Nearly PHP 2 MILLION in prizes is on the line, including a PHP 1 MILLION top prize for the Champion — bringing more play, more fun, and more action to the tables.

One table. One title. One Champion.

• Membership in the NUSTAR Rewards Club is required for participation.
• Earn 200 Rewards Points from Table Games and 250 Rewards Points from Slots starting September 14, 2026 (6:00 AM) to October 29, 2026 (10:30 PM) to qualify.
• Universe members are entitled to direct entry.

QUALIFYING ROUND

• Ticket printing and registration will start at 5:30 PM.
• A total of eight (8) tables will be used, with six (6) players per table.
• The Qualifying Round will follow a Sit-and-Go format, allowing players to join at any time during the game.
• Colored chips will be issued to indicate the number of hands currently in play. These chips have no cash value and are for reference purposes only.
• Each player will be provided with ₱20,000.00 worth of tournament chips (non-cash value).
• The Qualifying Round will consist of twelve (12) hands.
• For each rotation, the “first-to-hit” button rule will apply to determine which player hits first.
• No Insurance bets and No Surrender will be allowed.
• The top one hundred forty-two (142) players based on ranking will advance to the Semi-Final Round.

WILD CARD DRAW

• After the Qualifying Round, three (3) players who did not advance to the Semi-Final Round will be selected through a Wild Card Draw.
• Selected players will be given two (2) minutes to proceed to the event area; otherwise, a redraw will be conducted.

SEMI-FINAL ROUND

• Registration for the Semi-Final Round will start at 7:00 PM.
• Participants for this round shall be composed of:
• One hundred thirty-nine (139) winners from the Qualifying Round
• Three (3) Champions from Blackjack Tournament 1, 2, and 3.
• Three (3) Wild Card winners
• Five (5) pre-selected players endorsed by BDs from the Qualifying Round
• A total of one hundred fifty (150) players will compete, with a setup of 8 tables x 6 players per table.
• A total of fifteen (15) hands will be played.
• Each player will receive Fifty Thousand Pesos (₱50,000.00) worth of non-cash value tournament chips at the beginning of the semi-final round. All remaining tournament chips must be returned at the end of each game.
• The “first-to-hit” button rule will apply in every rotation to determine the order of play.
• No Insurance bets and no Surrender will be allowed.
• The 12th and 15th hands will be secret bet rounds, with chip counts conducted during these hands.
• The Top Six (6) players with the highest chip counts will advance to the Final Round.
• All semi-finalists who do not advance to the final round will receive ₱2,000.00 promotional chips, distributed as follows:
• ₱1,000.00 will be credited on the day of the semi-final round.
• ₱1,000.00 will be credited upon their return on November 5, 2026, redeemable at the Rewards Club Counter any time until 11:59 PM.

FINAL ROUND

• The Top Six (6) players from the Semi-Finals will compete in the Final Round.
• The Final Round will use a 1-table x 6 players configuration.
• A total of fifteen (15) hands will be played.
• Each player will start with Fifty Thousand Pesos (₱50,000.00) worth of non-cash value tournament chips. All remaining tournament chips must be returned at the end of the game.
• For each rotation, the “first-to-hit” button rule will apply to determine which player hits first.
• No Insurance bets and No Surrender will be allowed.
• Rankings will be based on the total number of chips remaining at the end of the game.
• The player who first reaches zero chips will be ranked last, followed by succeeding players accordingly.
• The player with the highest chip count at the end of the session will be declared the Champion.

• In the event of a tie in chip count during the Qualifying, Semi-Final, or Final Rounds, a tiebreaker hand will be conducted.
• The tiebreaker will consist of one (1) hand using a secret bet format, with each player starting with ₱20,000.00 worth of tournament chips.

• Self-exclusion
  You may apply for a self-exclusion program from any gaming establishment operated and regulated by PAGCOR for a period of six (6) months, one (1) year, or five (5) years. A self-exclusion period for the first six (6) months is irrevocable.
