The Universal Cultural Foundation, Inc. (UCFI) extended emergency relief assistance to communities in Masbate severely affected by Typhoon Opong, last October 30, 2025, reaffirming its commitment to providing timely support to Filipinos in times of calamity.
A wing van loaded with relief boxes containing bottled water, powdered milk, noodles, canned goods, and sacks of rice was dispatched to Masbate, benefitting 1,000 affected families. The relief distribution forms part of UCFI’s Emergency Response Fund, which supports immediate humanitarian assistance during natural disasters and emergency situations.
The relief goods were officially received by the Local Government Unit of Masbate, represented by Mr. Isaias F. Bigol Jr., Operations section chief of CDRRMO of Masbate City.
Through this initiative, UCFI continues to embody its mission of compassion and service — bringing help and hope to communities in need.
