Representatives from the Universal Cultural Foundation were present during the official groundbreaking ceremony organized by Cameleon Association Philippines for the renovation of the Passi Gymnasium and the construction of a dormitory extension within the Cameleon Village. These infrastructure projects aim to enhance the quality of rehabilitation and reintegration programs for young girls who are survivors of sexual abuse and violence.
The ceremony was attended by the board members and international volunteers from France, Cameleon’s partner organizations, and beneficiaries. The Foundation’s presence reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening partnerships and supporting impactful, on-the-ground initiatives focused on child protection, wellness, and empowerment.
The gymnasium renovation will provide a safe and appropriate space for psychosocial activities, including sports, dance, and therapy sessions, while the dormitory expansion will allow the center to accommodate more at-risk girls in a secure environment.
